Mutsy Slider Single Child Stroller and Baby Bassinet

Mutsy Slider Single Child Stroller and Baby Bassinet

Mutsy Slider Single Child Stroller w/ Baby Bassinet & Stroller Seat and Bassinet Rain Covers. Mutsy introduces a totally new mobility concept, the Slider, which answers all requirements for compactness, low weight, and performance with a sophisticated, sporty look. The entire upper part is detached from the frame together with the travel cot or the seat, so the frame folds up extremely small. A travel cot, a seat, a Graco and a Maxi-Cosi car seat (with adaptor) can be fitted onto the frame. The color combinations reflect the bright outlook of today’s modern parents. We carry the entire line of Mutsy strollers and accessories. Thanks to the large swivel wheels at the front, the Slider provides maximum manoeuvrability in the city. When you reverse the push bar, the fixed rear wheels become the front wheels. This is super handy when having to negotiate bumpy wood paths or cobblestone streets. The Slider has been fitted with modern single-spoke wheels, lightweight tyres and brake pedals on either side. The Slider frame consists of 2 parts: the upper part, configured as a travel cot, baby/toddler seat or travel system (using an adaptor for your Graco or Maxi Cosi car seat); which can be completely detached from the frame together with the travel cot or (car) seat. The base can then be folded into a super compact frame by pressing the red button. The wheels can be removed with a single click to make the frame even more compact. All Slider products are made out of high-end, luxurious fabrics. The footrest section is made of a sturdy black fabric that resists the wear. Your Slider comes standard with a foam grip handle and a luxurious detachable basket bag. SPECIFICATIONS: - Weight: 29.1 Lbs. - Weight without wheels: 21.2 Lbs. - Unfolded frame: 28.3 x 25.6 x 41.3 - Folded frame: 28.3 x 25.6 x 13.0 - Folded frame without wheels: 28.3 x 20.0 x 6.5

Phil and Teds Double Storm Cover

Phil and Teds Double Storm Cover

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars The best doubles stroller ever!
I absolutely love this stroller! Initially, I balked at the idea of spending so much on a stroller. But, when I realized that I’d probably spend about the same amount on a regular double stroller and a double jogger while having less storage space in my garage/car, I thought I’d take a chance.

What I like:

1. As a double stroller, it is still only the size of a single, which makes it very easy to navigate in small places.

2. It folds up smaller than other single strollers–i.e. my Graco QuatroTour–so it doesn’t take up the entire back end of my car.

3. It’s very easy to manuever–also better than my Graco QuatroTour.

4. You can use it with the infant carrier car seats and have a child in the second seat. To do this, don’t recline the first seat all the way down. Just unzip the sides, which is enough to accomodate the infant car seat, but still enough for a toddler to squeeze in the back seat.

5. I was concerned about whether or not my toddler would mind sitting in the back seat, but he doesn’t seem to mind at all.

What I don’t like:

1. When used as a double stroller, you lose the storage basket underneath (since the child’s feet go there).

2. It doens’t come with a snack tray for the child (I think you can order it separately) or a snack tray for the grown-ups. (I ordered a “BOB” one, which has two cup holders and a zippered pouch, and works just fine.)

This stroller is one of the neatest things I have seen and would highly recommend it to anyone.

2 Stars Adequate but…
This product is adequate but has a couple of significant drawbacks. On the plus side, it keeps the front child dry. On the negative side:

1. It doesn’t fit well if you have the extra seat attached at the rear and reclined. If reclined, the rear part of the cover tends to ride up over the back of the seat allowing water to run into the rear seat.

2. It is difficult to pass items to the child in the front seat, eg. drink, snack. A front access zipper/panel would be a great improvement.

3. It is cumbersome to put on which exaggerates the access problem: once on, it’s easier to leave on and hence a roll up panel or zipper to access the front child would be a big help.

These comments also apply for the double sun cover. As someone who does a lot of walking/shopping with the stroller, I’m about to take the scissors to both my covers to do the mods myself… For a company that has such a great stroller design, I expected more user friendly accessories.

Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport All Weather Umbrella Stroller

Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport All Weather Umbrella Stroller

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars To India and back
We bought this stroller to pick up our adopted 3 year old twins from India. We needed a lightweight stroller but one that would hold up to tough treatment. This stroller made it through checked baggage to and within India, and has handled many trips with our twins. I see others have had problems with quality, but we were lucky and have had absolutely no issues.

5 Stars Way to go
We use the stroller as no. 2 (have a Charriot for the heavy duty work). It folds easy, weights almost nothing (my 110 Lb wife can have one twin on the arm while unfolding the stroller) and handles good. Can even pass through most doors (in Europe). Recommen for urban use only (can seem a bit flimsy).

4 Stars Decent stroller so far
I purchased this stroller about 6 weeks ago for my 11 month-old twins as a more compact and lighter alternative to my Graco Duoglider. I chose it over other double umbrella strollers because of its lower price. When my husband and I go for a walk I make him push this stroller because it is a little too short for me to use comfortably (I’m almost 6 feet tall). Both of us sometimes accidentally hit the brake with our feet as we walk, and this is a little annoying. It does fit through most modern doors, but if you’re going to an historic area of town where the buildings are older, I don’t think it would fit. As with all umbrella strollers, you must be careful not to hang anything off the handles that is too heavy, otherwise the stroller can tip backwards. The canopy doesn’t cover much, but it’s better than nothing. There is one position to recline and we’ve used that as well. The mesh backing is great when it’s hot, and you can cover it when you don’t want the air flow on the kids’ backs. One advantage of the side-by-side stroller is that the kids can look at each other and get the same view. Also, you are closer to both kids and can see where you are going better. My husband has taken this stroller through grass and over gravel and had no problems, though I’m wary about off-roading. It was pretty easy to put together, and it functions how I expected it to based on other reviews. Overall, I am pleased with the product, but continue to use my Duoglider as my main stroller because its height fits me better and has greater cargo carrying capacity.

4 Stars great for parents on the go
Love it! It’s easy to operate. I took it on our trip oversea. Easy to open and close when going thru security and custom, and getting around airport. One downside, it doesn’t have undercariage basket to put diaper bags and toys.

5 Stars GREAT STROLLER
I bought this stroller a month ago and since then I have been using it every day with my 4 and my 2 and a half year old boys. It’s practical, easy to close, easy to open, lightweight, it fits everywhere, it went all through New York and Disney and two plane trips and it is still intact.

The cup holder is no use, I took it off as it kept falling, but I don’t think it’s such an important item. And of course it has no basket people! It’s a practical stroller which meets all the expectations for what it was made! And the price is unbeatable!

I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. Plus a thumbs up to Amazon.com which sent my order 24 hours later, even though I had chosen standard shipping! 24 hours after my purchase I had the stroller at home!!!!!!
