5 Stars There is no better double stroller!
I tried many different double strollers in stores and researched online a lot. Bumbleride Indie Twin is the winner, no doubt! We ordered Spice (orange) even though I didn’t really like the color but it was the only light color which is best for California hot weather. It arrived fast and I was very happy to see that the color is actually not so bright orange, but dark neutral orange color and the stroller looks so much better than on the pictures!

What I love most about it:

- SO easy to push around, turn; very smooth ride because of the air filled tires but they are not so huge like many other all-terrain (jogging) strollers have.

- Ok, it is wide but not as wide as BOB, for example. It’s actually pretty narrow for a double stroller but it still have very roomy seats! We went to Safeway and Walgreens and haven’t had any problems. It fit through every door.

- The seats seem so comfortable, very soft and padded. Everything is removable and washable.

- It has 2 front wheels which, I believe, makes it more stable. All the other all terrain double strollers have only 1 front wheel.

- Car seat adapter (and rain cover) included! Usually you have to spend extra money to buy accessories.

- My babies love it! I had BOB single stroller before. I don’t like jogging but I bought it because I couldn’t find any other good all terrain stroller. My baby never really liked it because she always had to lie back so much. Bumbleride is so open and she can sit up and she loves looking around!

- You can use it with the car seat! Universal car seat adapter included. My other baby who is only 2 weeks old sleeps in her Graco Snugride car seat when we walk around and the Bumbleride smooth ride makes her comfortable and happy :)
- HUGE basket makes life a lot easier especially when I walk to the grocery store and back home with lots of groceries! (or when I put my big diaper bag and other things in it).

- It looks COOL, expensive, durable, UNIQUE! So many people have asked me what kind of stroller it is. I love buying unique products ;)

I don’t like that it is heavy but it’s impossible to find such a great quality, stable, all terrain double stroller that is light.

Other strollers I considered: Graco Quattro Tour Duo Stroller, Ionic and Maclaren Twin Triumph Stroller, Coffee and Silver but Graco one is hard to push especially on the grass (not going to be happy going to the park) and Maclaren is light but not all terrain and I bet it’s hard to push around with those small wheels too. I remember seeing a women who was struggling to push her 2 toddlers in some double stroller with small wheels (I think it was tandem one) and i thought to myself that I would only buy all terrain stroller with air filled tires and suspension.

It’s not a jogging stroller but it is great for occasional jogging.

4 Stars 09 Bumbleride
I was debating for weeks between this stroller and the City Mini Baby Jogger. I ended up going with this one for safety, design, and style. It was a hard choice b/c the Baby Jogger has a GREAT canopy and it’s very light. However, the Bumbleride is much more sturdy, the under storage is great and easily accessible, and the seats are pretty roomy and comfy. I have an almost 3 yr old and a 5 mo old and they both fit perfectly. I love that the seats can recline pretty flat so they can both nap comfortably. The canopy on the 09 model does not go down as much as the 08 model, which was a disappointment for me. Also, the 09 models do not come with bumper bars, which also is a disappointment. I love the adjustable handlebars as I’m 5′4 and hubby is 6′1, so we can adjust the bars just right for our height. The stroller maneuvers great!! It’s so easy to push. I even took up jogging because it is so smoothe. I have the Vita model so it’s very stylish (honestly the deal breaker between this and the Baby Jogger). The weight isn’t so bad, but you do need muscles to lift it in and out of the car. My only disappointment with the 09 models is that the canopy does not go down as far and it does not come with bumper bars.

4 Stars My first stroller
It has some nice features but, my wife says it is too big and heavy. Being a guy, I didn’t wanna be seen with a skimpy little stroller. I think this is a perfect stroller. It is sturdy, easy to manuever, and folds nicely in half. A little cup holder on the handle is also a nice touch.

4 Stars Good overall value
This is my second stroller for my first child. The other is a jogging stroller that I use for walking the dogs and rough outside riding. It’s just too bulky for “regular” use.

I decided I wanted a few specific things: lighter weight than what I had, a reversible handlebar, a good size canopy. The lighter weight was easy; replacing pneumatic wheels with plastic wheels eliminated 10 pounds immediately. The handlebar was a challenge. Only 3 strollers are made with that feature. I could only find 2 in stores locally and one of them was $800. So the Flyer was kind of it.

It takes two hands to open and close. I don’t mind but some of you might. The footrest has 2 releases which is odd but not inconvenient. Same thing for reversing the handlebar. There are breaks on all four wheels so you can break easily in the forward or reverse positions. There are releases on both sides so you can fix the wheels depending on which direction you have the handlebar. this is my one “complaint”. With the handlebar in the reverse position (child is facing you) the wheels have a bit of a wobble when backing up or making a u-turn, almost to the point of getting stuck. It’s easy enough to get around: make a wider turn or pick up the front a bit. Mostly it’s just annoying.

This stroller doesn’t have a child tray. There is a “snack pack” you can purchase separately which I have not done yet (my son is 4 months). There is a single parent cup holder that hangs off the side of the handlebar. The storage space underneath is very nice.

2 Stars regret
After hearing everyone talk about this stroller, my wife and I went and tested at a local baby store. We we’re excited, and so we ended up buying this stroller for our first born son. Wow, it turned out to be a huge mistake. After 3 months, we ended giving it to the salvation army and buying a Bugaboo Frog instead.

The reason we bought it was like everyone else. We kept asking ourselves is the bugaboo really worth that cost? Our intial answer was no, we didn’t think the Bugaboo was worht the cost, so that lead us to the Bumbleride. But after our frustration with the bumbleride, I have to say that I now regret our inital decision. Buying the Bumbleride was money wasted.

Pros: One, it’s big, so you can put lots of things in the basket and when using it with the car seat, the empty space in the basinet can hold more things. Two, the cost was less than the Bugaboo. Three, looks better than Graco or any of those at that level.

Cons: 1. one of our wheels makes a noise. 2. easy to steer without baby in it, but hard to steer with added weight. 3. Too large for city use, very cumbersome to navigate around easily. 4. Even when folded, is way too large. 5. Wheel lock is not so great, you always need to check to see that it’s in the correct position or you’ll have a hard time with steering. 6. Wheels doesn’t roll well on smooth surfaces such as wood floors. 7. Becuase of how cumbersome this contraption is, to go backwards is an ordeal. Yes you can flip the handle, but it doesn’t roll well in that postion! and if you need to make that 360 degree turn, it’s going to be a wide turn! 8. the fram after 3 months of use has already started to be loose. Our nanny must think we’re bad parents for buying this. 9. oh I almost forgot to add, when you encunter a street curb, the way that the Bunbleride was designed was a good but also a bad thing. The design gives it a very secure center of gravity so it won’t tip over easily, but on the other hand the design makes it very hard to push down on the handle to lift the front end onto the street curb!

Oh, during the time that we are waiting the arrival of the Bugaboo, we just went out to buy the Maclaren Easy Traveler Stroller . For the cost and simplicity, it’s still a much better stroller than the Bumbleride Flyer.

5 Stars Great stroller for a great price!! Bumbleride Flyer 2007 Koa
This is a really great stroller for a much lower price than I would have expected! We first chose this stroller because of its reversible and adjustable height handle. We have found the reversible handle a great feature, especially when switching between using the stroller with and without a car seat. Our Graco Safeseat fits perfectly and safely into the stroller.

The stroller is easy to push and steer, even with the extra weight of a car seat. We have noticed only two drawbacks. The first is the need to take shorter strides when using the handle in the reverse position. The second is that the storage basket rubs on the wheels (however, I understand that this issue has been resolved in the 2008 model).

My favourite feature is the adjustable height handle. I am 5′4″ and my husband is 6′3″ and we are both able to comfortably push the stroller without having to reach up or lean down to hold the handle.

I love the brown colour! My daughters pink blankets and outfits look so cute in the brown stroller!

Overall, we love this stroller for its great features that are normally seen only in strollers which cost $100+ more than the Flyer. Our daughter always seems comfortable and content when in her stroller. We would definitely recommend this stroller!!

5 Stars Bumbleride 08 Flyer
Definitely recommend this stroller. It has everything a parent needs in a stroller for a newborn as well as a toddler. I actually purchased this stroller 3 weeks after I bought their Indie 09 Twin model, which I love! I felt so spoiled by my new double stroller so I wanted to invest in their single strollers. I chose the Flyer 08 model for the reversible handles and b/c it came with the adapter bar and foot muff. The other difference between 08 and 09 is that the wheels on 09 are slightly larger (not a big deal to me). Anyway, I love the reversible handlebars, the large canopy, and the large underneath storage bag - these are the 3 very important aspects of a stroller to me. Of course it’s very safe especially when the car seat is in - very stable and secure! My 3 yr old daughter also fits in it perfectly. My previous single stroller was the Peg Perego p3, which is great for its very compact fold, lightweight, safety, easy handling. However, it does not have the flat recline, the large basket, reversible handlebars, nice style, and adjustable handles and footrests.

2 Stars Just a pretty face
I bought this stroller because I couldn’t afford a Bugaboo and because it looks really cool. The fabrics are really hip and the overall look is stylish. But it was not worth it! I have been disappointed by this stroller again and again. It is bulky, not travel-friendly. I was excited about the flipping handle, but it doesn’t push well at all in that position because the wheels rub against the basket. It’s really cumbersome to lift over curbs and is rather difficult to maneuver in general.

Even with those drawbacks I figured I would keep it and just get a cheap umbrella stroller for travel, but today i was out with it and a bolt fell out of the frame, making it impossible to push up over curbs! I had to carry my 17 pounder 8 blocks home dragging the worthless thing behind me. I’m getting a Graco and hope I am never taken in by looks again!

4 Stars Bumbleride is my child’s favorite!
My child has been through 3 strollers and this is by far the favorite. Although heavier than my Peg Perego, this stroller rolls much more smoothly, is more comfortable for my child, and most importantly, the straps fits securely! We like the reverseable handle and the large shade. I have never had a problem with the wheels and the basket, just make sure to read the instructions first. I would buy this stroller again.
