User Ratings and Reviews
5 Stars Great stroller and car seat
Very Very easy to use and comfortable for my daughter. She is 8 months and 23 lbs now and still sits in the stroller very comfortably with room to grow. She is a tall baby though. I can see how some babies that have broader shoulders MIGHT have a problem with the stroller sides (wings as they have been called.)
But for us the car seat and stroller are very convenient. The stroller folds up quickly and easily. It’s not too heavy for me to lift in the trunk at all. And the safety ratings are what made the system for me. Also, my husband is a lot taller and I like the adjustable handle on the stroller. BUY IT!!! I have no complaints whatsoever about this system.
5 Stars Simply Awesome!
Positives:
The car seat installed extremely easily. So much easier than the other seat we bought for our older son.
The car seat latches in and comes out very easily.
The car seat latches into the stroller and comes out very easily.
The stroller also works great for our 2 year old as well when necessary.
The stroller handles amazingly well. It is extremely easy to maneuver with just one hand and works better than any other stroller I’ve ever come across.
Negatives:
The car seat latch straps were ALMOST too short to fit into the SUV. However, they did fit.
The Stroller is a little bulky when folded up, but that is to be expected with any travel system.
Overall, this system is great. It works very well and looks great and without any hesitation I would strongly recommend it to others.
5 Stars Awesome travel system!
First, I bought this system in the Discovery design…which is basically the same as the others, just a differnt fabric. This is by far the best travel system on the market. I was about to buy a Graco travel system, when my eldest daughter spotted this. Although quite a bit pricier than the Graco or Evenflo systems, I feel much more comfortable having my baby in this carseat. I love the level in the base that shows you it is installed correctly for baby’s positioning. One of my favorite features is that it can be fitted for a bench seat (such as a minivan’s) or a bucket seat (such as a Mustang!) by adjusting the base vertically…I’ve never seen that feature on any other carseat! I also love the little insert in the carseat that just sort of hugs my son when he’s in it. The shoulder straps are comfortable and the strap easily pulls and tightens to make sure your baby is snugly fit. My only negative comment would be that when the stroller is reclined all the way with the car seat in the stroller, it is very difficult to get a diaper bag in and out of the basket w/o taking out the carseat first. That gets kind of annoying. The stroller sets up easy and closes with ease. I wish it had bigger cup holders for drinks, but overall, I am more than pleased and would highly recommend to everyone!
4 Stars Not Perfect, But Very Good
I thought the Cortina KeyFit was really easy to use. The carseat snaps easily into the base, and the stroller opens and closes without much effort as well. The carseat seems heavy…but I’ve carried Graco ones and they seem heavy as well. I’m not sure any of them are light! One thing I noticed with the Chicco seat is that it has a very different angle than Graco or other seats. It appears to be more reclined. This is fine for my daughter now, but when she was very young, with some reflux problems, she would constantly scream when she was in the seat. But the fit was good for small infants, and I thought the insert was nice and snug. The stroller rolls really smoothly. We live in the city and constantly use it. Great storage space and cup holders, etc for water, burp cloths, etc. The underneath space is very good for shopping storage! And the seat reclines nicely for naps. My daughter loves the stroller. I would recommend investing in a Chicco windshield/rain cover for the stroller however. In windy or inclement weather, the top doesn’t provide much protection.
2 Stars annoying!
Looks good, but I hope you have a personal grocery shopper! There are no notches on the bottom of the car seat so the seat does not sit on top of the grocery cart. Try doing a week’s worth of shopping with a huge car seat in the main part of the buggy! Good luck!
