4 Stars Mother of one and one on the way
I purchased this and my husband put it together last night. My two year old didn’t want to get out after adjusting the straps to fit him. It’s pretty large but I think it will work great for my two boys. I’ll give another review once we have tried it with both kids.
5 Stars Can’t count the number of people who’ve stopped me to ask about this stroller….
I love it!!!!!
My only qualm is that it’s a little heavy. But it’s a DOUBLE-STROLLER. It should have some weight to it!!
You can face your children in virtually any direction: both towards you, both facing out, facing each other or one facing out while the other faces in. The coolest feature ever!
I have a 3-year-old and a near 2-year-old. I face them in opposite directions so they aren’t kicking each other.
I love that the seats are super easy to assemble!!! Just compress the buttons on the side, the seat lifts off. And you can either put it away (if only one child that day) or change it to an alternate position.
I love the huge basket underneath - it will hold at least 4 fully-stuffed shopping bags.
Also, it has the ability to snap virtually any infant car seat into place. We used this SO much when my son was an infant and my daughter was a toddler. We would just keep one seat off and securely snap the car seat into place (there are tabs - it’s incredibly easy). Then, when the child is old enough, you just add the second seat.
I love that the seats recline. Many a nap has taken place in this stroller.
Now - truth? Good at: malls, amusement parks/fairs, zoos, large community gatherings.
Better to take a more lightweight stroller if you are going on a walk in the ‘hood or someplace where only one child needs confinement.
3 Stars Versatile but Heavy-best if you don’t have to fold into trunk of car
I have a like/dislike relationship with this stroller. I really like the flexible seating and positioning, plus the suncovers work well. It also has HUGE storage space on the bottom, which we could comfortably fit our two dogs (toy breeds) who always want to come for a ride. It will fit quite a few shopping bags, several purses, or other bulky gear which are easy to grab without disturbing the kid. It also draws a lot of attention, since it’s not commonly seen where we live (north suburbs Chicago).
However, it’s a bear to get all the component parts folded into the trunk of our SUV (X5) but it was possible. I am strong, but felt that getting the thing into/out of the car was so much of hassle, that we would often take 2 single strollers in the car rather than deal with “The Beast” which we called it. Hence, this stroller worked well if we just wanted to wheel it out of the garage and walk around the neighborhood. Beyond that, we didn’t use it unless we absolutely needed the double stroller and I had some extra hands to help. Plus, if you are getting into a small elevator, you might have to take the kids out, collapse it, and then reassemble it when you get out of the elevator. With a double wide stroller, I’m sure that’s also an issue—all depends on the elevator of course.
You probably won’t regret getting the stroller if you really, really don’t mind the heaviness and don’t mind committing to the muscle work of getting it into/out of one’s trunk.
5 Stars Great Stroller
This stroller works great for family outings. It’s not for taking a quick trip to the grocery store as it is a bit heavy and bulky and fills up the trunk. But it works great for our 18 month old and our 2 month old(in the car seat adapter) when we want to take a walk or take a family outing. Lots of storage space below too.
5 Stars Best Double Stroller Ever Made!
I ordered this for my daughter who has a 17 month old baby who was a 1 1/2 pound preemie, so now she weighs 17 pounds but doesn’t walk yet. So her adjusted age is 13 1/2months. She also just got custody of her husbands 18 month old nephew. We went to a festival a while back and borrowed a double stroller from a friend. It was a NIGHTMARE….it was extremely hard to turn and was very heavy to push! So she decided she wanted this Stroller. Best investment we ever made! Its very easy to push, lightweight, and turning? I can do it with ONE hand and I am disabled! The way you can change the seats is just AWESOME! There is TONS of storage space too. The ONLY drawback I can see to this set is that the storage space is a bit hard to get to with both kids in the seats, but that is FAR outweighed by the lightness and ease of pushing and turning!
